Let me start by saying that I'm incredibly impressed with this product! If you're looking for a well-made, dapper looking decanter and matching glasses, you've found the right product.
Packaging: 10/10
The packaging was a big concern for me, as I didn't want to deal with broken glass. Luckily, this product is packaged very professionally with custom cutouts for each of the four glasses, the decanter, and the stopper. Along with the foam cutouts, the box itself is made of strong material that looks very classy (I kept the box because it's awesome). There's also a note from the owner of Maketh The Man, which was a nice touch.
Decanter: 10/10
The decanter and stopper have a nice weight to them, and the stopper is all glass with no plastic parts. I was able to easily fit a full 750mL bottle of scotch, and overall the look is great; exactly what I was hoping for.
Glasses: 9/10
You get four glasses in this package, which is perfect in my opinion. I also like that the little bezels on the bottom of the glasses are basically the same size as a finger...there are two of them, so it's easy to measure two fingers of scotch if you're into that. They are sturdy, and I'm not worried about them breaking at all. My only issue with the glasses is the shape of them. The squared top is a little awkward to drink from, but I end up just drinking from a corner and it's not a big deal. I just prefer a rounded top, but that was an easy concession to make.
Overall:
I can't recommend this product enough! I wasn't expecting the quality to be so high when I purchased the set, and I honestly lit up when I opened the box. I picked mine up for $60 (on sale from $200), and to me, I would be happy to pay the full $200 price tag knowing that the quality is so high. If you're into whiskey/scotch and want a great looking, well built decanter set, pick this up right away!
